Hove House in Hove near Brighton, Sussex is a celebration of light, structure and minimalism. The large open-plan family space, designed by Turner Works, is arranged around a central swimming pool and courtyard. Large windows are designed to maximise light and take advantage of garden views (and keep an eye on the kids when they're in the pool). The five bedrooms are housed on the lower ground floor, to create less impact on the landscape.

The palette is simple and refined - white walls display treasured art and polished concrete floors provide a practical and clean living solution. Locally sourced chestnut wood is used throughout for bespoke joinery and add warmth, and painted steel trusses add structure and form. Tan leather seating adds more warmth and a large marble dining table adds luxury texture. Simple, yet beautifully-designed, it's a house that will last a lifetime and always look stunning.
