Another website we frequent for gorgeous interiors and architectural inspiration, is Inigo the estate agents (sister company of The Modern House) for period properties. On a recent online visit, we found the inspiring Eagle House which is a huge 2-bedroomed flat in Wimbledon Village. Part of a Grade 2* listed Jacobean manor, its soaring ceilings with intricate architectural mouldings, tiled fireplaces and geometric leaded windows are eye-catching enough but we love what Michaelis Boyd Architects added as part of an extensive restoration project - modern joinery and mid-century modern furniture which create rich layers of architectural storytelling.
